In the past couple weeks, Ella has learned how to wave. It began just before Christmas -- we were out shopping for gifts for Daddy and she started waving "hello" and "goodbye" to people. Now, she's a pro. She will wave pretty much whenever she sees someone or something move. She will wave even if the person is a block away with his back to us!
We like to take walks in the village and there are always lots of people around. So, she sits in her stroller and waves to people up and down the street. It reminds me of a parade queen waving at all the people she passes. A lot of people don't notice her but some do. She always brings a smile to those who do notice.
