Today is the day that my wonderful husband turns 31! It's going to be a quieter bday than the celebration we had last year, but hopefully it will be a nice evening at home for him. Since he had to work, I ran out early this morning intending to buy Solvang pastries. Little did I know that a town that caters to elderly tourists does not have a bakery that opens before 7am! So, I headed down the road and we got donuts instead. (Note to self: Ella doesn't function as well with a purely sugary breakfast!)
Later tonight we'll have dinner at home with cake and presents. I've been trying to teach Ella how to sing "Happy Birthday" properly. We'll see how she does tonight!
