Our First Snowman

Happy Presidents' Day! Not only did the girls get the day off of school, but we got snow as well! It started falling last night as the girls were getting ready for bed. Freshly falling snow proved to be too much for Ella to resist. Dressed in her pjs, she ran around outside and had a little snowball fight with Brett. Yeah, we had to redo the whole "getting ready for bed" thing, but it was a good snow memory to add to the list.

This morning, Brett headed off to school (no holiday for him), and the girls and I headed out to play in the snow. Together we built their very first snowman. Carrot nose, dried cranberry eyes, stick mouth and arms, and of course a red sequined hat. A snowman, L and E style!
